“Good Eats” at the Ranch House Restaurant
On a recent trip to Montezuma Well I stopped in The Ranch House for lunch and even though I was in the mood for their yummy Frenchy’s Dip, I wanted to try something different so I opted for their Woods Portobello. I would highly recommend this sandwich to everybody, wow was it good! It came on a toasted ciabatta with a very scrumptious pesto mayo. Now I usually don’t go for a sandwich without some form of meat, so I was surprised by how much I liked it. It was extremely filling and the roasted red peppers and mozzarella cheese sealed the deal on my satisfaction level!
The Ranch house was recently renovated and offers a rustic, western feel. This cozy restaurant not only has health conscious cuisine, but comes with a 140 year old history. I have heard that travelers during Hollywood’s golden era such as Betty Davis, John Wayne, Clark Gable and Willie Nelson (just to mention a few) frequented this establishment!
