Outdoor Laser Light Show and Concert in the Park

Locations: Sedona Red Rock High School baseball field
The City of Sedona and Diamond Resorts International are proud to present the second annual Fourth of July Laser Light Show and Concert at the Sedona Red Rock High School. Spectators can come on the field at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy the live concert by well-known country singer David Parker & the Big Time, along with special guest performances! Shondra Jepperson, half of the popular Sedona entertainment duo Tom & Shondra, is scheduled to be this year’s emcee.Day Star Lasers International will dazzle audiences at this outdoor, thirty-minute laser spectacular. Multi-colored lasers choreographed to patriotic music will create an exciting show for people of all ages. It is set to begin at dark (around 8:45 pm). On the first Friday of each month, members of the Sedona Gallery Association offer a unique monthly showcase highlighting artists, special exhibits, and art events. These special art receptions give locals and Sedona visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while beginning their weekends with an exploration of Sedona’s exciting art scene. For your convenience, the Sedona Trolley provides free transportation to venture from art gallery to art gallery. Celebration of Native American Music and Dance

Tlaquepaque will be hosting a Celebration of Native American Music and Dance Saturday, July 6th and Sunday, July 7th.
- Gabriel Ayala to Perform
Award Winning Artist Gabriel Ayala will be performing in Patio De Las Campanas 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on July 6th and 7th. A member of the Yaqui people of southern Arizona, Gabriel Ayala(Guitarist) is at the forefront of a new generation of Native Americans making a career performing classical music. He earned a Master’s Degree in Music Performance from the University of Arizona in 1997, has taught at all educational levels from elementary through college, and serves as a competition adjudicator.
- Tony Duncan and The Yellow Bird Indian Dancers
Tony Duncan and The Yellow Bird Indian Dancers will perform from 10:00 to 5:00 PM on the hour for 30 minutes in Patio Del Norte on July 6th & 7th. Tony Duncan will spin 25 colored hoops in a blur of dance and high intensity movement that is mind-boggling. Not to mention the dancers creative depictions of several animal forms including the eagle and rattlesnake. This is a must-see phenomenon! Tony Duncan and the Yellow Bird Indian Dancers have just finished a 2013 summer tour across Italy and Spain. Dancing to the heartbeat of mother earth and playing the ancient songs of the flute, Duncan captures the beauty and artistry of Native America.
