Expand your inner wisdom this Martin Luther King holiday weekend at Sedona World Wisdom Days. Sedona is rolling out the red rock carpet for an unprecedented four-day festival featuring Hollywood stars, best-selling authors, informative workshops and an inspirational book fair and film festival designed to uplift the human spirit. Sedona World Wisdom Days will premier Martin Luther King holiday weekend, Friday, January 17, 2014 through Monday, January 20, 2014. This festival is on built on four pillars of awareness; creativity, culture, education and wellness.
Festival participants will be given the opportunity to express their expanded inner wisdom by placing prayers, affirmations and intentions in a 7-foot tall “Wisdom Bell,” commissioned by Goldenstein Gallery and crafted by Sedona artist Cheston Trammel.
Offering over 30 featured speakers, workshop facilitators and inspirational films, Sedona World Wisdom Days is set to become the largest city wide inspirational festival hosted in Sedona, Arizona. Scheduled to appear, actress and best-selling author Mackenzie Phillips, best-selling authors Jean Houston, don Miguel Ruiz (“The Four Agreements”), Jerry Jampolsky & Diane Cirincione, QVC Nutritional expert James Rouse, social activists Mary D. Fisher and Ocean Robbins, dream expert Cynthia Richmond, “What the Bleep Do We Know” filmmaker Betsy Chasse and a special tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King by Luisah Teish.
The purchase of a “Wisdom Passport” provides guests an all-inclusive pass to Friday evening’s opening ceremony as well as Saturday and Sunday’s featured presenters and keynote speakers. “Wisdom Passports” are $495, Friday’s films and Monday’s workshops are purchased separately.
