OpenStudios.Savethe Date Celebration of the Arts and Artists in the Verde ValleyThe Beauty of Spring has arrived and along with the blooming cacti, the artists of the Verde Valley are getting ready to open their studio doors for the public during the 11th Annual Open Studios Tour taking place April 25th – 27th, 2014.

This annual celebration of the arts and artists is hosted by the Sedona Visual Artist Coalition (SVAC) and includes Sedona, Cornville and Cottonwood. During this free self-guided tour you will have a chance to visit and talk with artists in their workplace, ask questions about their work, the mediums they have chosen and get to know the artists. Don’t be shy, these artists are happy to welcome you into their studios and discuss their work! You can take the self-guided tour daily from 10:00am – 5:00pm.

With over 30 studios participating you will come across a variety of mediums: Photography, jewelry, glass and sculpture, painting and many more! Some of the artist participating in this event are Shirley Eichten Albrecht (Basket Weaver & Mixed Media), Patti Childers (Pastel Painter & Stained Glass), Mukto Logue (Colored Pencil) and Csaba Martonyi (Photographer & Wood Sculptor).
