Don’t miss the fun at the 41st annual “Fiesta del Tlaquepaque,” a celebration of Mexican Independence Day. Celtic Harvest Festival Sedona
September 20th, 2014

The Celtic Harvest Festival explores the Celtic Arts and provides a foundation for understanding creative expression by uniting peoples regardless of heritage through Storytelling, Music, Dance and Literature. Students experience workshops with Celtic Artists and Educators that are in Sedona for the Festival and the public enjoys several days of Celtic Arts leading up to Satruday’s Festival celebration. Sedona Verde Valley Pride Festival
September 25th – 28th, 2014
Join the local LGBT community in celebrating at “Pride 2014” and celebrating the diversity of our community as a whole. The main festival event will be held at the Old Town Community Baseball Field in Cottonwood, AZ and the other smaller events will happen throughout the Verde Valley. This year’s theme is “Free 2 Be You!” Events include parties, a brunch with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a pool party, a fashion show fundraiser, garden tours, guided meditations and more, including the festival itself on Saturday, September 27th! Verde River Day (Cottonwood, AZ)
September 27th, 2014 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
The activities on Verde River Day promote preservation and care of the environment by showcasing informative exhibits on the Verde River’s riparian habitat. Some of the day’s events include 40-plus nature-based exhibits, sandcastle building, a menagerie of live animals, non-stop activities from canoe rides (with or without assistance), to nature hikes, as well as continuous entertainment and local food vendors.
