What a great weekend to visit Sedona, Arizona! Sedona’s Holiday Tree Lighting & Santa Visit and First Friday Gallery Tour take place this Friday, December 5th, along with the Made in Clarkdale Art Show. The Jerome Art Walk, The Nutcracker and the 21st Annual Chocolate Walk take place on the 6th. The Festival of Trees, Tinsel Town at Posse Grounds and the 7th Annual Holiday Blues Revue also take place this weekend!

Sedona Verde Valley Weekend Events (December 5th – 7th, 2014)
Festival of Trees at Tlaquepaque
December 4th – 6th, 2014 (11:00 am to 7:00 pm)
Kick off your holiday season at the Festival of Trees, a premiere holiday event at Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village. Area artists and galleries will have Art inspired trees vignettes. The trees all have different themes and incorporate different materials. The trees will be on display on our 2nd floor Terrace at Tlaquepaque accompanied with silent auction bid sheets. Viewers may visit Tlaquepaque and check their bids through 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6th. Proceeds benefit “Toys for Tot’s” via the Sedona Marine Corps League. Tinsel Town at Posse Grounds
December 4th – 7th, 2014
Every Thursday through Sunday, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Enjoy a small walk through the picnic area at the park while it is lit up with lights and decorations all created by Sedona businesses, organizations and community members. This display is perfect for the little ones. If you are a guest of the Best Western PLUS Inn of Sedona we will be more than happy to drop you off and pick you up from this event(our last pick up is 9:45 pm and you need to call the hotel for pick up). Sedona’s Tree Lighting & Santa Visit
December 5th, 2014 (5:00 pm – 7:00 pm)
Sedona’s Tree Lighting & Santa Visit kicks off the holiday season. Live entertainment, activities and refreshments will be available from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m at the Canyon Breeze Plaza on State Route 89A in Uptown with the 20′ holiday tree. Come hear holiday favorites from musical and performing groups and let your youngsters tell Santa all their hopes and dreams. Sedona’s 1st Friday Evening in the Galleries
December 5th, 2014 (5:00 – 8:00 pm)
The Sedona’s First Friday Gallery Tour receptions and exhibits give locals and Sedona visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while beginning their weekends with an exploration of Sedona’s exciting art scene and in many cases meeting the artist themselves. 28th Annual Made in Clarkdale Art Show
December 5th – 14th, 2014 (6:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
Don’t miss the 28th Annual Made in Clarkdale Art Show featuring over 60 artists presenting their original artwork. The event kicks off with a Gala Opening on December the 5th from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. “Evenings at Made In Clarkdale” celebrate performing arts with a variety of free events. Live music includes Jazz, Blues, Folk Rock, and original music. Literary work is embraced December 7th with their first ever Poetry Slam. On December 11th & 12th enjoy the theater with a performance of “The Wild Party” along with a wine tasting (there is an admission fee for these events). The Sedona Chamber Ballet Company is excited to announce its partnership with the Phoenix Ballet Company on this year’s production of The Nutcracker here in Sedona at the Sedona Performing Arts Center. This venture will provide for a Nutcracker production with professional sets, costumes and award winning dancers in leading roles from the Phoenix Ballet Company. Jerome Art Walk
December 6th, 2014 (5:00 pm – 8:00 pm)
First Saturday Jerome Art Walk is the perfect night to start the season’s shopping for the perfect present. Twenty-five galleries and studios will be welcoming visitors with beautiful art, music and refreshments. From blown glass to lovely jewelry, there is a treasure to be found for everyone! From the working studios of The Old Jerome High School to the lovely pottery of Made in Jerome, the true handmade Jerome touch is everywhere. A free shuttle runs throughout the town during the event. Live Entertainment: 7th Annual Holiday Blues Revue – Cottonwood, AZ
Joe Neri & Blues Dawg with special guests Green Light

The seventh edition of Old Town Center of the Arts popular Holiday Show will feature two local bands – Blues Dawg and Green Light – performing both original songs and holiday classics, separately and together, for a fun evening of holiday entertainment. There will be refreshments, gifts, auctions and lots of holiday fun. This event will take place at the Old Town Center for the Arts is located at 633 N. Main Street in Old Town Cottonwood.
