Red Rock Music Festival – Sedona Concerts

The Red Rocks Music Festival educates, engages and challenges audiences through a unique collaboration of musicians from leading Arizona performing arts organizations and world acclaimed artists. There will be two concert in Sedona at the Sedona Creative Live Center.

42nd Annual Fiesta del Tlaquepaque
September 12th, 2015 (10:00 am – 5:00 pm)
The charming plazas, patios, and streets of Tlaquepaque will be dressed in a festive wash of color, music, and dancing in the spirit of old Mexico. The lively mariachis, the heart-pounding rhythms and beats of Flamenco dancers, and the mouth-watering tastes of Mexico will fill the day. Continuing a long tradition of fabulous food, music, dance and entertainment for young and old, this year’s Fiesta promises to be extraordinary. Sedona Airport Family Fun Day
September 19th, 2015 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
Enjoy some free family fun at Sedona Airport Day! This event will feature cool classic automobiles and trucks and aircraft of all vintages including former military, antique, home built, and brand new aircraft. This is also a fly-in for pilots in the southwest. Sedona Airport invites all to fly in and meet and greet the public and fellow pilots. Ales on Rails at the Verde Canyon Railroad
Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October!
The amber glow of the autumn season is matched by the rich ales, lagers and stouts of Verde Canyon Railroad’s Ales on Rails taking place every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October! The party starts at 11:00 am with a hearty luncheon on the patio. A festive selection of German sausages, sauerkraut, potato salad, pretzels and strudel, are served up to the tune of a rollicking polka serenade. The 1:00pm train horn signals the continuation of the party as it moves onto the rails, with specialty beers available aboard the train including Verde Canyon Railroad’s own private-labeled brews, crafted locally by the renowned Oak Creek Brewery. The Sedona Magic Festival
October 2nd – 4th, 2015

Red Rock Oktoberfest

The Rotary Club of Sedona Red Rocks is hosting the Red Rocks Oktoberfest on at the Posse Grounds Park. This traditional German celebration of the harvest season features 10+ local brewers showcasing their finest beers. This event moved locations to the park to allow for a longer event, more people, better views, parking, food, etc! A portion of all proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Sedona Red Rocks. 125 artists from across the United States will be showcasing their exquisite work against Sedona’s stunning red rock backdrop. 11th Annual Sedona Plein Air Festival
October 17th – 24th, 2015
In addition to the ongoing theme of the magical Sedona landscape a special addition of figurative painting will be explored at this year’s Sedona Plein Air Festival!Experience a “Speakeasy Salon” with a complete stage/bar/jazz night club environment created in the historical “Theatre Studio” of the Art Barn at the Sedona Arts Center. While 15 of the nation’s best plein air painters will be working in the landscape and exhibiting in the Special Exhibition Gallery all week long another group of nationally known figurative painters will be working during the day painting from models in the adjacent Speakeasy Salon. Fourth Annual Taste of the Verde Valley
October 17th, 2015 (1:00 pm – 5:00 pm)
It’s the Fourth Annual Taste of the Verde Valley, the Annual Wine Harvest Celebration, at Cliff Castle Casino Hotel’s Stargazer Pavilion! Taste why the The Verde Valley has become a major player in the wine industry. Back this year are the popular Painted Wine Barrel Auction, featuring a number of barrels painted and embellished by local artists. The money raised by the Auction goes to Verde Valley Humane Society and Yavapai County Big Brothers and Big Sisters. There will be delicious food provided by their new Executive Chef and his staff. $25 gets you five tickets for wine and food servings. Additional tickets can be purchased.
