Red Rock Fantasy
Through January 5th, 2012
Red Rock Fantasy is a festival of nearly one million lights providing a man-made marvel within the scenic beauty that has drawn visitors for the past one hundred years. Now in its twenty second year and boasting over two dozen displays created by families from the Southwest, the festival promises never before seen marvels of light that leave children in wonderment and move adult minds to enjoy the holidays as they did when they were young. The event will last through the season, ending with a Closing Ceremony on Thursday, January 5, 2013. The festival is open each evening (weather permitting) from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 5:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. Festival of Trees
November 23rd – December 1st, 2012
Signaling the beginning of the 2012 Holiday season, Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village is celebrating its popular Festival of Trees, fast becoming a Sedona signature event. On Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, November 23, be sure to head to Tlaquepaque’s La Sala de los Milagros ballroom where you will enter a dazzling artist’s fantasy world of holiday magic—50 seasonal trees decorated with artistic imagination and precise execution by local artists, businesses and non-profits. Light up the Mountain – Jerome, Arizona

Visit the friendly people of Jerome, Arizona as they kick off the start of their holiday season on November 24th. Santa arrives in town at 3:00, followed by pictures with the jolly old elf in the Old Town Hall. A keepsake photo in souvenir folder will be available for purchase. The town will glow with the light of luminaries as they are lit at 5pm. Stop by The Bartlett Hotel at 5:30 for a reading of The Night Before Christmas.
