Visit Sedona, Arizona this weekend and enjoy the creations of talented artists at Sedona’s First Friday Gallery Tour on July 5th, 2013 and the Jerome Art Walk on Saturday, July 6th!

The Sedona’s First Friday Gallery Tour receptions and exhibits give locals and Sedona visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while beginning their weekends with an exploration of Sedona’s exciting art scene and in many cases meeting the artist themselves.

Below you will find a few of the exhibits and receptions taking place during the First Friday Gallery Tour, to see a full listing of participating galleries please visit the Sedona Gallery Association on Facebook. For your convenience, the Sedona Trolley provides free transportation to venture from art gallery to art gallery. We also offer our guest free shuttle service to uptown Sedona and the Tlaquepaque Arts and Craft Village. All of the exhibits and artist receptions for 1st Friday run from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. There is also going to be a Celebration of Native American Music and Dance taking place at Tlaquepaque on July 6th and 7th!

“July is About Fireworks and New Works”
The Fourth of July is all about family barbecues and fireworks with friends, but the day after Independence Day, it’s about Rowe Fine Art Gallery! On July 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. during the Sedona Gallery Association’s First Friday Gallery Tour, Rowe Fine Art Gallery will celebrate its renowned bronze and stone sculptors including Kim Kori, Richard Loffler, Alvin Marshall, Nicolai Medvedev, Erik Petersen, Ken Rowe, Jason Scull and Joshua Tobey. ““The New Wave”
Join the “The New Wave” of juried gallery artists. Come see the creative sculpture of Richard Barnwell, the bold, desert paintings of Robert Kwait, creative ceramics by Luke Metz, the brilliant shaman jewelry by April Bower, the unique expressive paintings of Cheryl Waale and Franco Valentini’s stunning photographic landscapes. “Cool Colors”
This month the new exhibition “Cool Colors” opens to offer visual respite to warm weather visitors.The show offers an art-filled outing to Fourth of July weekend celebration options. The spotlight is on a variety of sculptures such as the highly esteemed works of Larry Yazzie. Yazzie’s great gift is conveying with a Contemporary sensibility the traditions of his Navajo (Diné) people. “Celebrating the Art of Sculpture”
Mountain Trails Galleries, specializing in sculpture for over 25 years, pays tribute to their sculpture artists in an exhibition of new work by Western figurative sculptors Susan Kliewer, Michael Trcic, Vic Payne, Dustin Payne, Oreland C. Joe, and wildlife sculptors Sandy Scott, Jim Gilmore, and Stefan Savides. Sculpture demonstrations by the gallery’s artists will be a part of appreciating the extensive work that goes into a bronze work of art. Jerome Art Walk
Arizona’s Art Destination
July 6th, 2013
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Twenty-five galleries and studios will be welcoming visitors with beautiful art, music and refreshments. From blown glass to lovely jewelry, there is a treasure to be found for everyone! From the working studios of The Old Jerome High School to the lovely pottery of Made in Jerome, the true handmade Jerome touch is everywhere. A free shuttle runs throughout the town during the event.
