First-FridayWhat a great weekend to visit Sedona, Arizona! Sedona’s Holiday Tree Lighting & Santa Visit and First Friday Gallery Tour take place this Friday, December 6th, along with the Made in Clarkdale Art Show. The Jerome Art Walk takes place on the 7th. Holiday lights at Tinsel Town and more!

If you are a guest of the Best Western PLUS Inn of Sedona our Complimentary “About Town” Sedona Shuttle will be happy to drop you off and pick you up  at the following events: Sedona’s Holiday Tree Lighting, First Friday Gallery Tour, Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village, and Tinsel Town at Posse Grounds. Every Thursday through Sunday, from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Enjoy a small walk through the picnic area at the park while it is lit up with lights and decorations all created by Sedona businesses, organizations and community members.  The kids will love this display. This event is free and open to the public! If you are a guest of the Best Western PLUS Inn of Sedona we will be more than happy to drop you off and pick you up from this event(our last pick up is 9:45 pm and you need to call the hotel for pick up).

Sedona’s Holiday Tree Lighting & Santa Visit
December 6th, 2013
Sedona’s Holiday Tree Lighting & Santa visit kicks off the holiday season on the first Friday in December. Live entertainment, activities and refreshments are available from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the at the Canyon Breeze Plaza on State Route 89A in Uptown. Ken Rowe GalleryNavajo stone sculptor Alvin Marshall made quite the impression among art collectors at his debut show at Rowe Fine Art Gallery last year. Alvin will return to the gallery for The Spirit of Diné during the Sedona Gallery Association’s 1st Friday Gallery Tour. He will bring with him recently completed wildlife sculptures carved out of Utah alabaster, limestone and marble. December 6th – 15th, 2013
Don’t miss the Made in Clarkdale Art show featuring original art in a variety of styles and mediums from over 60 artists. The free opening Gala Event will be on the 6th of December from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The Art Show will be open daily with artist demonstrations and workshops and in the evenings there will be live entertainment. The Art Show will take place at the Clark Memorial Clubhouse located on 9th street & Main in Clarkdale. This event is free and open to the public. Jerome Art Walk
Arizona’s Art Destination

Twenty-six studios and galleries will host openings and happenings throughout the artist colony.
