This is a shout out to all the ghosts, goblins, tricksters, witches and ghouls who are ready to have some Halloween fun in Sedona, Arizona. There are some fun Halloween themed events to get you in a hauntingly good mood for Halloween.

For all those in my age group get ready for a blast from the past when the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show comes to the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on October 29th! On the 30th Olde Sedona Bar and Grill will be having a Monster Masquerade Ball featuring Yin Yang and Zen some, and Sound Bites Grill will be hosting the Batrina’s Ghosts & Beggars Murder Mystery Ball! On October 31st be entertained with Haunted History tales at the Sedona Heritage Museum, and Halloween night the kiddos can enjoy safe and fun trick or treat in Uptown Sedona! What are you waiting for. Take a walk on the spooky side and head to Sedona, AZ for a crazy fun time.

‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’

Just in time for Halloween: “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, the outrageous cultural phenomenon that has been a hit with movie lovers for nearly four decades, returns to the big screen in Sedona! The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the return one-night-only engagement at the festival’s Mary D. Fisher Theatre. Dress in costume if you wish and come dance, sing along and do the time warp with other Rocky Horror fans! Relive Richard the streets of LA for his EP, “Time is Now” and now presents his new album, “We The Living”. HalloweenYY & ZS presents an unforgettable evening of rock n’ roll debauchery, live from The Olde Sedona. It’s Halloween Eve and they wanna get you properly prepped for the best holiday of the year. It’s a Monster Masquerade Ball, so everyone come in your best! For almost 10 years now, YY&ZS has been putting on themed costume shows in Arizona. Haunted Halloween at the Sedona Heritage Museum

Come spend an autumn afternoon at the Museum and hear ghostly tales – some of which have their origins right in our own back yard! Hear award winning actor and playwright Mike Peach use historical narrative, cowboy poetry, and tongue in cheek fun to weave these stories of mischief and mirth.The show is about an hour long and appropriate for all audiences. Safe & Fun Trick or Treating
October 31st, 2015 (5:00 pm – 8:00 pm)
HalloweenCalling all ghost, witches, ghouls and goblins, you are invited to enjoy a safe and fun trick or treat in Uptown Sedona along “Main Street” (N. SR 89A & Hyatt Shops)! “Theatre Zombique” will play out from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Jordan Road near the corner of N. State Route 89A. This is the 10th year for the production! It’s an exciting performance of community dancers dancing the daylights out of Thriller/Ghost Rave/Dead Man’s Party, produced and directed by Martha Edwards. New this year, watch for random appearances of the Cowboy Zombies. These re-enactors are members of The Red Rock Posse of Sedona, a fun-loving group of Cowboys and Cowgirls. Once again these “Cow folk” are giving their all to bring joy to our community, so make sure to say “Howdy” and “Thanks pardners”! Don’t miss Tricks, Treats, Follies & Feats featuring Aerial and Modern Dance, Classic Horror Movie excerpts, Day of the Dead performance and more! Performers for the evening include: Featuring Ty and Christine Eaton, Coco Rambo, DiVoM Sticks and Bones – David Vincent Mills & Michael Drew. This event will be taking place at the Old Town Center of the Arts located at 5th Street and Main in Cottonwood, Arizona.
