Visit Sedona, Arizona this weekend and enjoy the creations of talented artists at Sedona’s First Friday Gallery Tour on November 1st, 2013 and the Jerome Art Walk on Saturday, November 2nd!
The Sedona’s First Friday Gallery Tour receptions and exhibits give locals and Sedona visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while beginning their weekends with an exploration of Sedona’s exciting art scene and in many cases meeting the artist themselves.
Below you will find a few of the exhibits and receptions taking place during the First Friday Gallery Tour, to see a full listing of participating galleries please visit the Sedona Gallery Association on Facebook. For your convenience, the Sedona Trolley provides free transportation to venture from art gallery to art gallery. We also offer our guest free shuttle service to uptown Sedona and the Tlaquepaque Arts and Craft Village. All of the exhibits and artist receptions for 1st Friday run from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

1st Friday Gallery Tour featuring Al Glann: Remuda
Artist Al Glann’s bronze series “The Horse” is celebrated in this newest gallery exhibition with sculptures that range from 14 to 41 inches high. Unlike many bronze sculptors who first create in clay, Glann works initially with steel.A sculptor for over 25 years, Glann only began sculpting horses in 2007 when he created several for the Scottsdale [AZ] Arabian Horse Show. Ted CoConis: One-Man Show
This year Ted CoConis received a distinct honor: The prestigious Society of Illustrators added him to their Hall of Fame; it is an honor they have bestowed since 1958 to artists chosen for the body of their work and the impact they have made on the field of illustration. A visit to Hozho, where the gallery is located is essential on “1st Friday” evening. Stop by and meet Ted CoConis and enjoy refreshments and plenty of great art. The exhibition runs through November 30th.

Twenty-six studios and galleries will host openings and happenings throughout the artist colony.
