18th Annual Spring Heritage Pecan & Wine Festival
March 17th – 18th, 2018 (10:00 am)
Spring Heritage is a two-day festival celebrating the springtime beauty of Northern Arizona, the Verde Valley’s rich Native American history, the largest original historic fort in Arizona, and the one-of-a-kind Wild & Scenic Verde River–the last river in Arizona to flow year-round for its entire length. This festival includes the Verde Valley’s largest wine tasting, Verde River Runoff Canoe and Kayak Race and the Verde Valley Archaeology Fair! The Festival takes place in beautiful and historic Downtown Camp Verde, AZ, at the corner of Main Street and Hollamon Street (Race launches form White Bridge River Access Point). The St. Patrick’s Run

In partnership with Sedona Running Company, let’s all have a blast dressing up and running a challenging 5K at Posse Grounds Park. Race begins at 8 a.m. leaving runners plenty of time to finish the course and drive to uptown Sedona for the parade. Course is child, dog, and stroller friendly so bring the whole family!All race finishers will receive a medal. Trophies will be given to age group winners as well. The 48th Annual Sedona St. Patrick’s Parade

Cottonwood, AZ – Old Town Blues Fest

This year’s celebration of the blues will feature a reunion of the legendary Los Angeles blues band, Blues Dawg, a later version of which has been performing throughout Arizona for over a decade under the guidance of local bluesman, Joe Neri. Also preforming at the Old Town Blues Fest will be the Phoenix-based Mojo Rats. Mojo Rats, fronted by singer/guitarist Bob Vincent, blew the roof off of the Old Town Center for the Arts two years ago and are returning by popular demand. The Blues Fest will open with the Basic Blues Band, performing an actual (and rare today) pure, non-amplified acoustic blues set. This event will take place at Old Town Center for the Arts located at 5th Street & Main in Cottonwood, AZ. Celebration of Spring: Carnival and Egg Hunt
March 31st, 2018 (9:00 am – 2:00 pm)
This is much more than just an egg hunt, this is a Celebration of Spring! Join us for this fun, action packed event for families and all those in the community that enjoy spring and the beautiful outdoors. Once you arrive, walk to the Posse Grounds Park lower softball field for entrance onto the multiuse field for games and vendors! Inflatable toys for kids, face painting, carnival rides and much more are included with the $5 admission fee for the youth attendees. Some vendors may be charging for their goods. The official egg hunt will begin at 10:00 am for children 12 years of age and younger (parents will only be allowed to search with age group 2 and under). Children will be divided by age groups and there are over 21,000 eggs waiting to be found! Children need to bring their own baskets. Limited tickets available!
