He then went on to performing on stages all over the world as a solo artist and as the concert guitarist for world music master Omar Faruk Tekbilek.

Mazzella began studying music on the violin at age five. He then proceeded to learn the rudiments of music on piano until falling in love with the guitar at age thirteen. In the nineties Anthony shared his musical insights by teaching at Knopf Music (where he once took guitar lessons), as a private instructor, and at the Long Island School for Music and Arts. Vogt creates his ceramic pieces as roughly 5/16″ thick by 8″ x 10″ clay flats that he fires then glazes before breaking each up with a hammer. Sedona Community Farmer’s Market

The Sedona Community Farmer’s Market at the beautiful Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village offers some of the best nutritious eats in town! Okay, so they may not have servers and chefs waiting on you hand and foot but they have some really great vendors who offer nutritious snacks and wonderful ingredients for you to make you own delicious dishes!

The market takes place ever Friday morning from 8:00 am – 11:30 am until October 2rd, 2015 in the creek-side parking lot of Tlaquepaque! Meet the local growers & taste the local flavor! Farm fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, grass fed beef, goat products, tamales, breads and pastries, gluten free, vegan, hand-made chocolates, live music and much more! To see a full list of vendors or to learn more about the market please visit Sedona Community Farmer’s Market.

On my visits to the market I am always pleasantly surprised with the variety of vendors providing everything from delicious greens to sauces. Of course I have my favorites! Sky Hi Sprouts ranks very high on my list. The sprouts and micro-greens are grown with organic seeds and soil, absolutely yummy! When I stopped by last year the gentlemen snipped off some sunflower sprouts for me to taste and that is all it took, I was hooked and have vowed to visit every Friday! I ended up buying a huge bag of sprouts and a few other greens. They have been a great addition to my salads, sandwiches and can stand on their own for a quick munch! I also purchase breads, pasta sauce, salad greens, candles, and some very good hot sauces from some of the other vendors.

About the film Landfill Harmonic
A worldwide sensation since its spotlight on 60 Minutes, Landfill Harmonic (South by Southwest 2015) is a heartfelt, moving tale of how instruments made from recycled trash bring hope to children whose futures are otherwise spiritless. This empowering film follows the lives of a garbage picker, a music teacher and a group of kids from a Paraguayan slum as their trash-into-music orchestra is catapulted into the global spotlight. Landfill Harmonic is a beautiful story about the transformative power of music that touches the heart while addressing two vital issues of our times: poverty and waste pollution.
