Zenprov Comedy Live Show:’Thanksgiving Laughtovers
November 19th, 2016 (7:30 pm)
Tickets are $12 pre-sale and $15 the day of the show
Zenprov Comedy performs their final show of 2016 “Thanksgiving Laughtovers” at the Mary D Fisher Theater. If you’ve never been to one of their live performances before, Zenprov Comedy is similar to the improvised TV show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” The troupe performs fast-paced, spontaneous comedic scenes created in the moment—always based on audience suggestions. Unlike sketch or standup comedy, nothing is scripted or rehearsed ahead of time. It’s completely made up and never the same show twice. “We’re excited to perform a show devoted to this uniquely American holiday of Thanksgiving. There is so much rich material we can tap into about family, food, traditions, Black Friday Sales, and, of course, cold turkey,” said Derek Dujardin, the director of Zenprov. For more information or to purchase tickets to this Sedona event please visit the Sedona International Film Festival.

Guided Archaeology Hike
November 20th, 2016 (1:00 pm)
The program is included with the park admission
Red Rock State Park has been a destination for Native Americans for several millennia. Most of the ancient features found in the park are from the Sinagua culture dating about 1100 to 1425 AD. Come and hear the fascinating story of the pre-Columbian people who lived and traveled in the park! The hike will identify the various archaeological features and interpret them into the wider context of important regional Sinagua sites. Explore ideas of other cultures that may likely have made use of the park’s resources. The hike will last about two hours, with an elevation gain of some 250 feet, along easy trails. Please bring water and wear suitable footwear. For more information please visit Red Rock State Park.
