Sedona’s 1st Friday Evening in the Galleries

The Sedona’s First Friday Gallery Tour receptions and exhibits give locals and Sedona visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while beginning their weekends with an exploration of Sedona’s exciting art scene and in many cases meeting the artist themselves. What a perfect event to find that special Valentine’s Day gift! All of the exhibits and artist receptions for 1st Friday run from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Sedona Entertainment: Anthony Mazzella’s Guitar Legends Show

Legends Of Guitar reaches a very broad audience given the diversity of artists it pays tribute to. People love guitar music and are fanatical about the bands they play in. This show features the technical skills of the greatest guitarists and the music from some of the biggest bands. This live event will take place at Sedona’s Sound Bites Grill. Fall Festival at Slide Rock State Park

Celebrate the beauty of fall at the Slide Rock State Park “Fall Festival”. Enjoy an apple cider press, blacksmithing, The Verde Valley Fly Wheelers displaying tractors and old engines, kiddie tractor pull, USFS and Smoky the bear, Adobe Mountain Raptors, quilt displays, 4-H and you can build your own scarecrow!For more information please visit Slide Rock State Park.

Sedona Arts Festival

Sedona Arts Festival125 artists from across the US will be showcasing their exquisite work against Sedona’s stunning red rock backdrop. Enjoy a wide variety of artistic creations in Ceramics, Mixed Media, Fiber Art, Glass, Photography, Drawing, Sculpture. Jewelry, Wood, Metal, and Painting! This event will be taking place at Sedona Red Rock High School located at 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road in West Sedona. If you are a guest of the Best Western Plus Inn of Sedona we will be happy to drop you off and pick you up from this event in our Complimentary “About Town” Sedona Shuttle. Fort Verde Days (Camp Verde, AZ)

Fort Verde State Historic Park celebrates Fort Verde Days with a flag-raising and lowering ceremony, living history presentations with the Buffalo Soldiers and Indian Wars period re-enactors, special presentations, a fashion show, cavalry drills and a vintage baseball game. Sedona Geology Hike

Red Rock State ParkJoin Red Rock State Park’s knowledgeable volunteers as they venture out on their trails and discuss how Sedona transformed into what we see today. Red Rock State Park is located at the base of the Mogollon Rim, the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau. Over millions of years of erosion the rim has receded over four miles leaving behind the picturesque features of Sedona. This is an interpretive experience for both the beginner and experienced hiker, lasting between 2-2 ½ hours and an elevation gain of 250 feet. Please bring water and wear suitable footwear. We’ll take you anywhere within Sedona proper in our 12 passenger air conditioned van, then just call us and we’ll come back and pick you up! This free shuttle service is available to all of our guests from 8:00 am until last pick up at 9:45 pm.
