Two Great Bands on One Fantastic Night!

September 11th, 2015 (7:00 pm – 11:00 pm)

Leroy MillerIf you are going to be visiting Sedona, Arizona this coming Friday you will not want to miss two great bands on Stage at Sedona’s Sound Bites Grill for one fantastic night!

On Friday, September 11th,  Leroy Miller (who plays blues guitar on recording sessions with John Mayer, Smash Mouth, and Macy Gray) and his trio share the stage in the Celebrity Show Lounge at Sound Bites Grill with the Grant Ferguson Band, an up and coming melodic, rock powerhouse.

After making his debut at Hollywood’s The Roxy, Leroy Miller was voted “Best New Blues Guitar Player” in the highly talented and very competitive LA market. Acclaimed as a sensational blues man, Leroy has toured the world several times over, playing on the same stage as many of the most famous musicians of our time including Aerosmith and the Dave Mathews Band. Leroy has been tagged as a Blues Guitar Sensation!

Leroy Miller’s music is ubiquitous: you’ve probably heard him on the soundtracks of TV shows such as “Scrubs” and “Arrested Development” as well as movies such as “Driven” (starring Sylvester Stallone) and “Black Sheep” (starring Chris Farley and David Spade). On rock radio, his song, “Get a Job,” was the #1 added song for four weeks straight in the U.S. On YouTube, his video for “Good Time” collected more than 10,000,000 views worldwide. Whether he’s playing a driving rock song which rampages through the sound system with the power of a bullet train speeding through the landscape or wailing on a song which is a recitation of life’s sorrows, Leroy Miller is a fantastic musician!

Opening the show for the Leroy Miller’s Trio is the Grant Ferguson Band.  Grant Ferguson is making a name for himself as a melodic, rock powerhouse. At the Atlanta Institute of Music, he learned from some of the best guitarists in the music business how to blend jazz concepts into his primary genre of traditional rock and blues. (To share what he has learned, Grant is the founder—and director—of Rock Boot Camp® in cooperation with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.)

Whether he is covering a Jeff Beck song (which he does flawlessly!) or playing one of his own compositions, critics have been impressed with Grant’s inherent ability to present each song like a precious lyrical gem. Preferring rhythms which are propulsive and carry the song forward in a headlong rush, Grant creates incredible excitement each time he performs. And yet, he can softly slow it down: on “Tears of St. Kilda,” he can make his guitar sound as gentle as a father soothing his cherished child off to sleep. Grant Ferguson and his band bring a dynamic performance to the stage, each and every time they perform.

Tickets for this event are only $15/$20 depending on seating. It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance to secure a seat. Sound Bites Grill is located at the Hyatt Shops at Pinon Pointe in uptown Sedona. For more information or to purchase tickets please call 928-282-2713 or visit
