The storms have moved on and the sun will be shining in Sedona, Arizona this weekend! We have had a fairly mild winter this year in the red rocks, so we can’t complain too much about the storms on Sunday and Monday. But we are happy for our guests that are visiting this weekend, it’s going to be a beauty! The clear skies and warmer temperatures arrive just in time for 1st Friday Evening in the Galleries on March 6th and the Jerome Art Walk on the 7th! Don’t get me wrong, you will still need a moderate jacket in the early morning and evening hours. If you are visiting Phoenix to catch some spring training games consider visiting us in the red rocks this weekend, we still have a few rooms available!

If you are staying at the Best Western PLUS Inn of Sedona, we offer our guest free shuttle service to uptown Sedona and the Tlaquepaque Arts and Craft Village. All of the exhibits and artist receptions for 1st Friday run from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

The 35th Annual Juried Members’ Show is the highlight of the year for Sedona Arts Center members. The art is juried for both professional and emerging artists. Mingle with art lovers, artists and art collectors at their first Friday opening reception. A wonderful array of styles and media include sculpture, ceramics, drawing, colored, pastel, oil, acrylic and watercolor painting, glass, wood, fiber, 3-D and 2-D mixed media, jewelry and photography.
